Tonight is a true “trust the model” play. FSU is hosting UNC. Both teams are in the top half of the conference, but there aren’t many positives to FSU and their season so far. UNC has the edge in every offensive category, but FSU has the edge on defense and they are going to need it tonight. Both teams are right around 50% in their last 10, UNC is 40% on the road this season and FSU is 70% at home. Hopefully these trends continue because the model suggests we back FSU tonight. We can take solace in believing this is a trap line, because I would think UNC would be favored by more. That’s why we use a model.
